• Continuous annealing of speedometer inner roll was not possible as method of heating was
  resistance heating.
• Resistance heating resulted in fixed lengths, less productivity, less flexibility / Inventory was high due to different sizes.

Electronics Devices designed a special a special coil and continuous heating system whereby the customer was getting the full roll of more than 100 meters annealed. He could cut lengths from this as desired.Further, the same machine with a different coil was utilized for cutting the inner of required lengths. Cutting by shearing or any other method left untied strands at the end. Cutting by induction heating resulted in fusing of the strands together to give a good finish.
